About My Clients
Are you always bracing for the next anxiety attack—wondering when it’ll strike again? Maybe you've lost count of how many times it’s caught you off guard. I understand the pounding chest, the shortness of breath, and the overwhelming urge to escape. And maybe, alongside the anxiety, there’s a deep sense of exhaustion or sadness that won’t lift—depression that makes it hard to get out of bed, connect with others, or feel joy. You're not alone, and you don’t have to face this on your own.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with four years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of settings. My clinical background includes helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, life transitions, and identity development. I’ve worked in schools, community agencies, and outpatient clinics—experiences that have deepened my understanding of the challenges people face at different stages of life. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, while also integrating holistic techniques that support the mind-body connection. What this means for you is a flexible, personalized approach that meets you where you are and adapts to what works best for you. Whether you're a teen struggling with anxiety, a parent seeking support, or an adult feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I’m here to help you gain clarity, confidence, and real tools for change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I believe deeply in creating a space where all people feel seen, heard, and respected. I value authenticity, compassion, and equity—and these guide my work every day. I’m committed to practicing through an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens and continually educating myself on how systems of inequality impact mental health. I’m a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community and affirm all gender identities, sexual orientations, and family structures. I also stand in support of racial justice movements and believe that healing happens not only on an individual level but within the context of community and culture. Outside of my clinical work, I’m passionate about mental health advocacy and volunteer my time supporting youth empowerment and suicide prevention initiatives. I bring my full self into this work, and I welcome you exactly as you are.
