About My Clients
I work with people who are tired of feeling stuck in the same emotional loops—whether that’s anxiety that won’t quiet down, relationships that keep repeating the same patterns, burnout, grief, or a general sense that something just isn’t right anymore.
My Background and Approach
I have over 7 years of experience helping children, adults, teens, and families in crisis. I'm licensed in FL and hold additional certification in trauma-informed therapy. My approach to therapy is non-traditional. I utilize humor in sessions to help break the stigma of mental health. I'm direct and challenge my clients. I will not sugar-coat anything. I pull from the client's strengths to highlight their resilience and capabilities. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll examine how your thoughts influence your emotions and experiences. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to challenge those thoughts and change your feelings for the better.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy with me isn’t about lying on a couch or being “fixed.” It’s about having a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and learn tools that actually make day-to-day life feel more manageable. We’ll look at what’s going on beneath the surface and focus on what you need right now to feel steadier, more confident, and more connected. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation—one where you don’t have to filter yourself or have everything figured out. You’re allowed to show up exactly as you are. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you and work toward meaningful, lasting change. If you’re considering therapy, that alone tells me you care about yourself and your well-being. I’d be honored to be part of that process with you.
