My Background and Approach
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over seven years of experience as a registered nurse in inpatient and outpatient settings. My background includes working in psychiatric hospitals, correctional facilities, outpatient clinics, and Telepsychiatry, treating diverse populations with compassion and expertise. I earned my BSN from CSU Fullerton and an MSN from Azusa Pacific University. My specialties include mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as PTSD, ADHD, and medication management. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches (MBCT), and supportive therapy to create collaborative, client-centered treatment plans that promote mental health recovery and well-being.
