About My Clients
I value working with BIPOC folx that believe healing is possible and a birthright. I acknowledge the courage, commitment, community, discomfort and self-love it takes to heal.
My Background and Approach
As a first generation Mexicana/Oaxaqueña I understand the trauma and challenges BIPOC folx face as they navigate life in and outside the USA. In my work with clients I use various approaches and tools from my masters program in Mexico City, my work experience in community mental health and the violence prevention and intervention programs I have delivered. I also acknowledge and use the wisdom that comes from the lived experiences passed down from my living relatives and ancestors.

I believe therapy needs to be a safe place where all parts of yourself are held. I can provide you with additional tools needed to continue living, healing and thriving.
