About My Clients
I work with teenagers, young adults, adults, couples, and older adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions. Many of my clients are bilingual or from Latinx backgrounds seeking culturally affirming therapy. Whether you’re managing overwhelming feelings, relationship struggles, or personal growth challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you at your own pace.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from Winston-Salem State University. I’ve also completed certifications in Yoga Teacher Training, Positive Psychology, and Art Therapy, which allow me to incorporate holistic and creative methods into counseling. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I often use evidence-based practices combined with mindfulness, art, and goal-setting techniques to support emotional regulation and overall well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens best in a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered. Therapy should honor your cultural identity and individual journey. I’m committed to supporting you with empathy and cultural humility, helping you build resilience and find your path to wellness—mind, body, and spirit.
