About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Simmons and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. I am an LSWAAin the state of Washington. Over the last 10 years, I have had the honor of working with individuals and communities in various areas of the social work field. As an immigrant, I understand the cultural and socioeconomic factors that can become obstacles to living a both physically and mentally healthy and balanced life. I support my clients in their choices in how they approach their mental health needs . We work collaboratively to ensure a safe, non-judgmental space to move forward in the healing journey. My approach is multi-dimensional and client centered; what works for you is unique and dependent on your needs and reflective of your unique experience of life. I utilize a variety of therapeutic evidenced based approaches to meet your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I take a trauma informed approach with each interaction. I believe that our experience of life up to this point is unbelievably important; it makes you who you are, the good, the bad, and everything in between. Our early experiences can impact us as adults in ways that can sometimes be surprising, but there is power in understanding the origin of your needs and want (and habits)to be able to engage in your life on your terms. You are the expert in your own life and believe it or not you hold valuable resources and solutions within yourself already! Together we can collaborate and bring those to light, and then figure out how to put into practice these skills. You can achieve the mental wellness you are looking for.
