My Background and Approach
I believe that you are the expert of your life. I will first hear your story and then help you discover unhealthy patterns. We will then create a plan to begin the healing process. I use a warm but real approach. I will provide you with a safe environment. I will offer you support yet still challenge you to help you move towards healthy. I tend to use emotionally focused therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy within my work to assist in reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and relationship related concerns.
