About My Clients
women navigating different phases of life while carrying the emotional weight of past or present relationships, childhood wounds, or life transitions. Many feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck repeating unhealthy patterns. Together we explore relationship patterns, heal inner child wounds, and reconnect with your inner strength while honoring the connection between mind, body, and soul. I also work best with clients ready to reflect and grow both in and outside of session
My Background and Approach
I am a well-rounded and energetic clinician with over 10 years of experience working with diverse populations across multiple states including Texas, NYC and Michigan. My background includes work in child protective services, home-based services, homelessness programs, aging populations, HIV/AIDS services, at risk youth, and individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and narrative therapy while also incorporating holistic practices that honor the connection between mind, body, and soul. I specialize in supporting Black women navigating the many phases of womanhood. Many of the women I work with are processing relationship wounds, unresolved childhood experiences, or trauma from past or present relationships while trying to rediscover who they truly are. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, heal inner child wounds, and develop healthier, more meaningful relationships with themselves and others
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to creating a space where Black women feel safe, seen, and truly understood. Black women often carry immense pressure to be strong, resilient, and supportive of everyone around them, leaving little room to process their own pain, exhaustion, or emotional needs. I believe Black women deserve spaces where they can speak openly about their experiences without judgment or expectation. My work is grounded in supporting Black women as they navigate burnout, racial trauma, societal expectations, and the many pressures placed on their identity and womanhood. Society often defines womanhood through marriage, motherhood, or sacrifice, which can cause many women to feel disconnected from themselves. I believe healing involves releasing those external expectations and reconnecting with your own voice, values, and inner wisdom. My goal is to support Black women in living lives that feel authentic, balanced, and aligned with who they truly are.
