About My Clients

Many of the individuals and couples who connect well with my approach are managing several challenges at once, including relationship stress, life transitions, anxiety, and the impact of past experiences. Often, they are used to being strong and dependable for others while privately feeling emotionally tired, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I work best with clients who want a supportive space to talk openly, gain clarity, and better understand patterns, thoughts, and emotions.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adults and couples through anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lasting effects of difficult past experiences. My background includes work in CMH, crisis, outpatient and more, allowing me to offer both compassion and practical guidance. My approach focuses on helping you understand patterns, strengthen communication, and develop skills that support emotional balance and healthier relationships. I draw from evidence based practices while tailoring therapy to your individual needs, goals, and pace. Clients often appreciate having a space where they can speak openly, gain clarity, and leave sessions with insight they can apply in everyday life. I work with individuals navigating multiple stressors at once and focus on understanding the whole person rather than a single concern. Therapy is designed to help you feel more grounded, confident, and equipped heal and move forward.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy works best when people feel respected, safe, and genuinely understood. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and the belief that every person deserves a space where their experiences and identity are honored. I value inclusivity and strive to create an affirming environment for individuals from all backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ communities. I support approaches that promote emotional wellness, healthy relationships, and personal growth while recognizing the impact that culture, family, and life experiences have on mental health. My goal is to provide a steady, supportive presence where clients can explore challenges openly and move toward meaningful change at their own pace. I am committed to ongoing learning and self reflection so that I can continue providing thoughtful, culturally responsive care. Above all, I believe therapy should feel human, collaborative, and empowering, helping people feel heard while building practical tools.
