About My Clients
I specialize in working with children and adolescents as they navigate academic pressures, emotional challenges, behavioral struggles, and the complexities of growing up. I also work closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance rooted in Positive Parenting principles to strengthen connection and foster lasting change at home. In addition to my work with youth and families, I support adults in their 20s through 70s who are facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches—including CBT, IFS, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness—tailoring each session to your specific needs. I have a deep connection to Internal Family Systems (IFS), as it offers a powerful way to explore and care for the different parts of ourselves that hold our emotions, beliefs, and past experiences. This is often paired with cognitive strategies to challenge and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. My approach is active and practical, offering tools that help you feel more grounded, in control, and empowered in your daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I care deeply about supporting the BIPOC community and creating a space where culture, identity, and lived experience are honored. As someone who has navigated multiple cultural worlds myself, I understand how systemic inequities and generational stories can shape our sense of belonging. My work is grounded in social justice and cultural humility—centered on helping clients feel seen, empowered, and connected within their communities.
