About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and identity exploration—especially those who feel overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves. My clients are often deep thinkers, highly intuitive, and seeking a safe space to unpack their experiences without judgment. I support those who have struggled with childhood wounds, relationship challenges, or feeling like they have to “hold it all together.” Together, we build self-awareness, restore emotional balance, and move to
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland with a background in trauma-informed care, person-centered therapy, and Schema Therapy. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and cultural humility. I work collaboratively with each client, believing they are the expert of their own story. My clinical experience includes supporting individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges. I also incorporate somatic awareness, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices to help clients reconnect with themselves and regain a sense of agency. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking a deeper understanding of your inner world—I’m here to support your healing journey with compassion and authenticity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in safe, affirming spaces where people feel genuinely seen and heard. As a woman of color and a strong advocate for mental health equity, I’m passionate about creating inclusive therapeutic relationships, especially for those from historically marginalized communities. I honor each person’s lived experience and strive to practice through a lens of cultural awareness, anti-oppression, and empowerment. Outside of therapy, I enjoy creating art, connecting with nature, and spending time in spaces that nourish the soul. I believe joy, rest, and authenticity are forms of resistance—and I bring that energy into the work I do with clients.
