About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults who may feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, distracted, emotionally exhausted, or simply not like themselves. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, stress, or difficulty managing everyday life. Whether you’re seeking help for the first time or looking for a fresh approach, I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable discussing what you’re going through.
My Background and Approach
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a nursing career that began in 2002. More than two decades of healthcare experience have shaped the way I care for my patients and strengthened my belief that mental and physical health are deeply connected. My dual background allows me to consider the whole person, including medical history, lifestyle, emotional well-being, and individual needs when developing a treatment plan. I specialize in caring for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, stress, and other mental health concerns. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy using a compassionate, evidence-based approach. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and involved in your care while we work together toward meaningful and lasting improvements in your well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and valued when seeking mental health care. My practice is grounded in compassion, empathy, and respect, and I create a welcoming environment where people from all backgrounds can feel comfortable being themselves. I understand that culture, family, life experiences, and personal values can influence how we experience and understand mental health, and I believe these factors deserve to be acknowledged in your care. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging people to seek support without shame or fear of judgment. Above all, I value building genuine connections with my patients. When you enter my practice, you are more than a diagnosis. You are an individual with your own story, strengths, challenges, and goals, and I am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting you along the way.
