About My Clients
You may find yourself constantly overthinking, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, disconnected from others, or weighed down by self-doubt and hopelessness. Past experiences may continue to affect your relationships, confidence, sleep, sense of safety, and ability to fully enjoy life. Therapy can help you quiet racing thoughts, improve emotional regulation, rebuild self-worth, establish healthier boundaries, and feel more grounded and in control of your life.
My Background and Approach
I am a dedicated clinician with my Doctorate in Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University and my Master’s in Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. I bring a strong clinical foundation and a compassionate, client-centered approach, supporting individuals and families in navigating life’s challenges and creating meaningful, lasting change. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. I work with diverse and marginalized populations, approaching care through a culturally responsive and strengths-based lens. My clinical work is rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices, including TF-CBT and CBT, while also integrating a holistic view of well-being. For clients who wish to incorporate spirituality into their healing, I offer faith-based integration as part of the therapeutic process.
