About My Clients
You've tried a lot already — medications, PT, therapy, meditation. Some helped temporarily, but you're still stuck.Maybe it's chronic pain that doesn't match your scans. Maybe it's anxiety that won't turn off no matter what you try. Maybe your body holds tension you can't release. You're ready for something different. You don't need to understand the neuroscience — just be open to the idea that your nervous system is part of the pattern, and patterns can change.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed therapist (LMHC Florida, LPC Pennsylvania) specializing in chronic pain, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation. I use EMDR to process trauma and fear patterns keeping your nervous system on high alert. I use Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) to help your brain stop sending pain signals it no longer needs. I use parts work (IFS-informed) to help protective patterns finally let go. I spent 5 years navigating my own chronic pain — 12 specialists, countless treatments — before discovering that addressing my nervous system was the missing piece. That experience shapes how I work with you. I also offer therapy intensives (half-day and full-day) for accelerated progress. EMDRIA Certified. PRT Trained. CBT-I Certified. Telehealth only throughout FL & PA.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe chronic pain is real, even when scans are normal. I believe anxiety is physiological, not a character flaw. I believe people who've been dismissed deserve a therapist who takes them seriously. I was born in China and moved to the U.S. for my education. I understand navigating cultural expectations, code-switching between worlds, and carrying family obligations while building your own path. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities. I'm committed to cultural humility and ongoing learning about how systems of oppression affect health. Outside therapy: I'm a lifelong mover — ballroom dancing, martial arts, weights. I have a ginger cat, an old dog, a chaotic puppy, and a turtle who's possibly older than me. I've been to therapy myself. It makes me better at this work.
