About My Clients
Are you feeling stuck, worried, confused, and want to build a life worth living? Together we can discover the issues that have been holding you back and discover your inner strengths to move forward.
My Background and Approach
I have a BS in Applied Psychology (NYU), MA in Counseling Psychology (Columbia University), and EdM in Mental Health Counseling (Columbia University). Counseling is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not work for the other. I tailor my sessions to each of my client’s needs by incorporating the strengths from approaches including, psychodynamic, REBT, CBT, multicultural therapy, mindfulness, spirituality, and philosophy. I will create a specific treatment plans just for you to help us stay focused and motivated on your healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As Socrates once said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” I believe the secret to a happy life depends on the depth of our understanding of ourselves, our relationships with others, and our roles in this world. It is not until I started therapy that I found out the roots of my maladaptive thoughts and behaviors. With that understanding combined with my desire to change, I was able to replace those thoughts and behaviors for healthier ones, thus improving my anxiety tremendously. Now, after years of rigorous education and training in psychology and counseling, I wish to do the same for you. Together, we will examine what has been working for you and what has not. We will help you build an introspective, meaningful, and happy life. If you want to talk more, just shoot me a message!
