About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, you don’t have to face it alone. I work with adults of all ages, but I have a special passion for adolescents and children. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
My Background and Approach
I was born and raised here in the Chicago area, and did all of my schooling here as well. I graduated from Governors State University with a Master's degree in Counseling, focusing on Clinical Mental Health. During my educative experiences, I have had the pleasure of serving the LGBTQ+ community, the kink community, and those affected by intimate partner violence or domestic violence. Each experience was reinforced by a trauma-informed approach, while allowing each client to feel safe, heard, and seen in our sessions together. My intention is to grow with you in your journey and create a space where you feel safe and confident enough to encourage and reflect upon your growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of healing, community, and self-discovery. I hold the perspective that every person has an innate capacity to grow, even in the face of pain, trauma, or systemic oppression. I see therapy as a sacred space where your full self is welcome, including the parts that feel unseen, unheard, or unworthy. My approach is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and a belief that healing is not linear—it is layered, complex, and unique to each individual. I believe in honoring your lived experience and the wisdom you carry in your body, your story, and your spirit. As a clinician, I am especially passionate about holding space for those navigating intergenerational trauma, racial identity, and the impacts of marginalization. I see therapy not as "fixing" but as reconnecting to self, to voice, and to choice. Together, we’ll create a space where you can begin to imagine what healing looks like from your personal perspective.
