About My Clients
I am passionate about providing affirming, culturally responsive care for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions. I believe healing happens in relationship—with self, others, and community—and I strive to offer a therapeutic space grounded in safety, trust, and respect.
My Background and Approach
My work is rooted in a humanistic, person-centered philosophy that honors your lived experiences and strengths. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, alongside somatic and trauma-informed practice. Whether you're unpacking generational trauma, exploring your identity, or seeking emotional clarity, I am here to support you with warmth, curiosity, and non judgment. You don’t have to navigate this alone—we’ll move at your pace, in a way that feels empowering and true to you. Your story matters. Let’s begin the journey toward healing together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist who identifies as part of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and has personally experienced anxiety, I understand the unique challenges that come with navigating identity, mental health, and cultural expectations. These lived experiences allow me to create a therapeutic space that is not only safe and inclusive, but deeply empathetic and validating. I don’t just talk about healing from the outside—I’ve walked that path myself. Because of this, I meet my clients with authenticity, cultural awareness, and a genuine understanding of what it means to feel unseen or overwhelmed. My goal is to support you in feeling empowered, understood, and grounded as you work through whatever’s weighing on you.
