About My Clients
I work with adults who are motivated and self-aware, often the “strong one” others lean on, yet quietly struggle with anxiety, stress, anger, substance abuse, burnout, or relationship challenges. Many of my clients describe feeling like they’ve tried everything, yet the same patterns keep showing up. If you’re ready to do the work, I’ll meet you with compassion and curiosity. Together, we’ll focus on healing at the root while also building tools you can use right away in daily life.
My Background and Approach
I combine lived experience with nearly 20 years of professional work in the helping field. My style is collaborative and active - I won’t just sit back and nod. I integrate approaches like CBT, EMDR, nervous system regulation, Internal Family Systems, and attachment theory. Our sessions balance insight with action: grounding practices to regulate your body, tangible tools for you to use in between sessions, and strategies to strengthen connection with yourself and others. My goal isn’t just to help you “cope,” but to help you feel more resilient, present, and fulfilled in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe growth is possible for everyone, no matter how long you’ve felt stuck in old patterns. I believe the nervous system can learn safety, relationships can heal, and resilience can be built. I also believe therapy should feel collaborative and human - you deserve a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to providing a safe, welcoming space for individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs.
