My journey to becoming a therapist started when I was on the other side of the couch as a teen battling anxiety. I got treatment that changed my life. I am here to do the same.
My approach is based on my belief in the power of the therapeutic relationship - it’s the most important part of what we do in here.
My career focus and specialized training has prepared me to work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and self-destructive behavior. If you want the fancy clinical terms, this means I use EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and attachment theories to guide what I do.
Clients describe me as energetic, warm, positive, and non-judgemental. My style is often labeled as gentle and client led. I have a heart for advocacy and am comfortable coordinating with other providers, educational systems, employers, or government agencies.
