We support California adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, or chronic stress that affects their ability to work. Eligible people may receive California SDI income support while recovering. We help you understand your clinical needs and options through individualized evaluation, treatment, and appropriate medical documentation.
My Background and Approach
Work Leave Care connects mental health care with the practical need for time and financial breathing room to recover. California State Disability Insurance (SDI) may replace part of your income when a qualifying condition prevents you from working and you meet eligibility requirements. Led by Dr. Jonathan Kim, PsyD, Founder & CEO and California Licensed Psychologist PSY36891, we offer telehealth evaluation and treatment throughout California. When clinically appropriate, care may include work-leave and SDI medical documentation, alongside ongoing treatment and support. WLC is independent of California EDD. Documentation depends on an individualized clinical evaluation. EDD determines benefit eligibility; approval, payment amounts, leave duration, and job protection are not guaranteed.
