About My Clients
Maybe you're living with chronic pain, persistent dizziness, or the aftershocks of a rough medical experience — and noticing it's seeping into more than just your body. Maybe you're in the middle of a big life shift or untangling something in a relationship that matters to you. Whatever brought you here, you don't need to be in crisis to deserve support. If something's taking up more room in your life than you'd like, that's reason enough to knock on my door. (Kids under 10 are welcome, too, thr
My Background and Approach
I've spent over fifteen years walking alongside people through life's transitions as a yoga therapist, and I bring this background into my clinical approach. I've supported hundreds of folks with persistent pain and dizziness as a co-facilitator of Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley's ARISE Program for Persistent Pain and Dizziness from 2019 until it wrapped in 2025. I also live with persistent pain myself. So when I say I get it, I mean it — not just from a textbook, but from the inside. I show up fully for my clients — grounded, present, and, at times, a little quirky. Together we'll build a space that holds all of you: your identities, your history, your right-now - at whatever pace feels true for you. My approach is holistic, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed, and I pull from parts work, neuroscience, attachment theory, Gestalt, DBT, and more expressive, somatic techniques. No single approach fits everyone. We'll collaborate to see what actually moves the needle for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a liberation-oriented philosopher at heart. My roots are in Western, Yogic, and Buddhist teachings, and they've left me with an unshakeable belief in human goodness. Therapy is one path for learning how to see that goodness in ourselves again, believe it, and reclaim it as ours. It's a process of finding your way back to your most authentic self — one that's always been yours, even when people or the world made it feel risky to hold onto. As Gabor Maté puts it, people will trade their authentic selves for a sense of safety. Therapy is reclamation.
