About My Clients

My ideal client transcends demographic factors like age, race, and religion. They are individuals wholeheartedly dedicated to unlocking their true potential and pursuing their goals. They may experience a spectrum of challenges such as self-identity, self-confidence, self-care, personal values, cultural identity, and the impact of social media in their relationship with themselves and others, all while seeking a nurturing, judgment-free space to navigate their journey of self-discovery and life.

My Background and Approach

Utilizing a humanistic and person-centered approach, my mission is to assist clients in their journey toward self-actualization and authenticity. I place a strong emphasis on the development of essential aspects of one's identity, self-confidence, and self-care skills, all within a multicultural and intersectional framework. I aim to create a therapy space that extends beyond traditional confines, integrating creative elements into our sessions such as music, art, or outdoor walks, which meet distinct needs and preferences of each person. This is used to promote exploration, expression , and healing in a way that resonates most deeply with each person's unique journey. My ultimate goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where clients can embark on a transformative experience of self-discovery and personal growth, all while focusing on their overall wellness and well-being for the soul, within the context of their diverse identities and experiences.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a clinician, my practice is deeply rooted in my personal beliefs and values. I'm a strong advocate for social justice, inclusivity, and mental health awareness. I firmly believe in the importance of creating a safe and welcoming space for individuals from all walks of life. I actively support causes close to my heart. I am a Black Lives Matter ally, volunteering my time and resources to promote equality and fight against racial injustice. I also strongly believe in the healing power of the human-animal bond and dedicate my time to fostering dogs. Additionally, I've volunteered as a mentor for young girls, passionate about empowering the next generation. In my personal life, I hold family and community in high regard. These values are at the core of my therapeutic approach, where I emphasize empathy, inclusivity, and personal growth. My goal is to provide a warm and supportive environment for clients from all backgrounds, guiding them on their path to improved mental health.
