About My Clients

For parents + those who are considering parenthood. For parents, the focus is on you - on your role as parents and your well-being in relationships. All to ensure you are living a fulfilling life. For those considering parenthood, I am here to support your contemplations or decisions. Whether you are considering a life with or without children, the focus is on figuring out what is best for you.

My Background and Approach

For parents, I will create a space for you that is dedicated to your parenthood experience and how it fits into your life. We can focus on the difficult things, things we rarely talk openly about, and most importantly, how to get through them. Area of specialty: What parenthood means to you, New identity and responsibilities, Real unpleasant feelings, Inter-generational parenthood, Adjusting as your child grows. For those considering parenthood, I will create a space that is free of any bias and agenda. We will include emotional and objective perspectives but mostly importantly, we will integrate your whole self into it all. Area of specialty: On the fence of parenthood, Unplanned pregnancy, My partner wants to start a family but I am uncertain, or vice versa. I want to start a family before it's too late, what should I do? Who should I start a family with? I don’t want, or unable to have children, can I still live a fulfilling life? I am already a parent, do I want another child?

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe parenthood today is more complicated and nuanced as we live more conscious lives. We know more about child development, and how the environment impacts a child. We know parents want the best for their kids but are often exhausted and emotionally compromised. I recognize parents can use direct support for themselves as parenthood is not just parenting, but rather, fully integrated into our whole selves. I believe parents can benefit from a space dedicated to being honest and getting through the hard stuff, so they can be the parents they want to be. As we live more consciously, more people are asking "how" and "if" parenthood is for them. Because family planning decisions are so personal, it is easy to be internally conflicted. In addition to our own thoughts, there are many voices in our minds from our romantic partner, societal expectations, and global issues. I believe those considering parenthood can benefit from a space to process and discover what is true for them.
