William James Jones (he/him/his)

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Biola University, my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, and completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I've won the American Psychological Association's Division 39 Multicultural Scholar Award, and published an article in the Journal of Humanistic Psychology on the topic of self actualization. For the past few years, I have proudly served as an Adjunct Professor and taught several classes for psychology undergraduates at Azusa Pacific University, graduates of the clinical psychology Master’s program at Pepperdine University and 2nd and 3rd year clinical psychology doctoral students at Antioch University, Santa Barbara, and Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara. My approach is self designed. My practice and I exercise what is known as the Integrative Depth Psychological approach.

Personally, my beliefs are reflected in the service that I provide daily. I am an avid believer in social support organizations that educate, enlighten, and advocate for marginalized and underrepresented communities. As a professor, I too have cultivated multicultural approaches to inclusivity and the empowerment of said groups. To better illustrate my efforts in the causes that I feel so passionate about, I mentor several college and graduate students actively involved in the Black Lives Matter movement. I have been regarded among my colleagues to partake in a panel discussion designed to cultivate healthy dialogue following the social unrest in the community regarding the protests. I too dedicate myself to the work I partake in with numerous clients who are part of the LGBTQ community. My specialty lies within supporting clients in navigating the terrain of identifying with the many communities we actively partake in everyday.
