I specialize in providing psychotherapy to adolescents and young adults. My work tends to focus on repairing ruptures in their attachments and building their self-confidence. Whether it be anxiety, depression, peer and family relationship issues, or confidence and self-esteem, I offer a safe and comfortable space to explore these issues on a deeper level.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker who provides psychotherapy to adolescents and young adults that struggle with self-esteem and confidence issues, anxiety, and life adjustments. I graduated from New York University in 2016, specializing in substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. After realizing that my calling was working with children and adolescents, I have spent the last 5 years at a day treatment center/school, serving students with emotional and developmental disabilities. My eclectic yet holistic approach borrows heavily from mindfulness practices and incorporates your past experiences and relationships, trusting you to be the expert in your own life. This garners a strong partnership from which to begin the exploration process. I will work collaboratively with you, tackling obstacles, both internal and external, concrete and unconscious, on the path to fulfillment and discovering your true, authentic self.
