About My Clients
I love working with people who have powerful (sometimes scary!) body/mind connections, artists, LGBTQ+ people, therapy first-timers and people practicing polyamory/ENM.
My Background and Approach
My areas of clinical focus are trauma, attachment, internal family systems and somatic (body-centered) therapy. I practice from a multicultural, intersectional feminist lens that acknowledges the reality of social systems of violence and oppression, including capitalism and white supremacy. Our sessions can be as creative, dynamic and unique as you are. We will build structure and set intentions at the beginning of our work together. As we learn and change, we'll make sure to take time to figure out if we're paying attention to the right stuff or not. I bring the tools & concepts, you bring the expertise on all things you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people do not need to be “fixed” and will never be perfect, and that there is beauty within that truth. I partner with my clients to figure out what is important to them and how we can prioritize those aspects of their experience in their care- in a compassionate, non-judgemental manner.
