About My Clients
I have plenty of experience helping clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, self-worth, and plenty other topics.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with two psychology-based degrees, including my Masters. I have 6 years experience with clients. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients, but more importantly, I tailor-fit my approach to each client. We all have different needs and personalities, so I follow your lead to help build trust and comfort with the process. For clients who need more direction, I can structure therapy for you to walk away each session with tools to actively work on issues. For those who just want to reflect on their feelings and experience, I'm happy to do so as well!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every client should be honored, respected, and valued the same. I was raised to respect those different from me, and do everything I can to promote equality in my community and the world. I believe we have a obligation to facilitate inclusivity with marginalized groups. I am LGBTQ friendly, and strive to understand every client's lived experience through their eyes.
