About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and relationship challenges. I support Spanish-speaking families, individuals experiencing burnout, women’s issues, and children managing ADHD or behavioral concerns. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, offering a welcoming and confidential space where clients can explore emotions and build practical coping skills.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Universidad Ana G. Méndez and have experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. My clinical work includes addressing mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem concerns, anger management, career stress, and trauma-related challenges. My therapeutic style is collaborative and structured while remaining warm and culturally responsive. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused techniques. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual or family, focusing on stability, resilience, and practical skill development.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves a safe and respectful space to express their emotions and navigate life’s challenges. Whether managing stress, trauma, or behavioral concerns, support and guidance can make meaningful change possible. Therapy is a collaborative process where clients build insight, strengthen coping strategies, and develop confidence in their ability to manage life’s transitions. I strive to create an environment that fosters stability, growth, and emotional balance. If you are ready to take steps toward greater wellbeing and clarity, I would be honored to support you.
