About My Clients
My clients these days tend to be women from adolescents to middle age looking to find more confidence in themselves, develop more compassion toward their anxiety while learning tools to lessening it, find more ease in their daily lives, and accomplish their life goals and dreams. The clients getting the most out of our work together are open to learning about themselves and their beliefs, and are serious about overcoming the challenges that bring them in. I'm grateful for each one of them!
My Background and Approach
My educational background in family systems provides a unique perspective when I work with an individual because we're always coming back to how today's beliefs and patterns often were learned and helpful in childhood or even from our parents in their childhoods, and thus, are easier to kindly untangle and rewrite for your life today. Previous to opening a private practice, I worked in an intensive out-patient program and from that experience, I still have a tendency toward making the greatest impact in the shortest amount of time. I don't believe therapy necessarily needs to be a long, slowly drawn out process but aim for my clients to see noticeable results in just the first few weeks. I also believe strongly that therapy is not simply a luxury for the wealthy but a necessary component to improving mental health which should be accessible for all people regardless of income - That is why I'm proud to keep my fee at roughly half the going rate.
