About My Clients
My clients typically tend to feel overwhelmed by life's stressors. My client's have a keen awareness that they do not feel well mentally and/or emotionally and desire to make a change for positive wellbeing. Some of the symptoms that my clients tend to display include, but are not limited to, panic attacks, lack of motivation, irritability, crying urges/spells, lack of focus, feelings of nervousness, poor appetite or increased hunger, and difficulty falling/staying asleep.
My Background and Approach
I have a background in individual and family therapy. I received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida, and I received my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida. I use a combination of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and holistic therapeutic practices. Many clients believe that it is the therapist’s job to make them feel better. While feeling better may be the outcome of counseling it is not always the case in every situation. My main role is to help you identify your root cause and triggers. To perhaps help you understand yourself more clearly and provide insight as to why symptoms by be surfacing so intensely. You and I will work collaboratively to develop the capacity to endure intense emotions and channel them properly. By doing this you will be able to increase your ability to disperse/ relieve your symptoms at a quicker rate.
