About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who feels like they’ve been carrying too much for too long — the woman who holds everything together for everyone else, the parent who loves deeply but feels stretched thin, or the individual who senses they’ve lost pieces of themselves along the way. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, overwhelm, relationship strain, or the lingering effects of past experiences that still shape how they move through the world.
My Background and Approach
My background is rooted in counseling psychology, trauma‑informed care, and a deep belief in the healing power of steady, compassionate connection. Before stepping into clinical work, I spent years supporting individuals and families through emotionally complex seasons, which shaped the way I show up as a therapist today—calm, present, and attuned to the whole person in front of me. As a counseling trainee, I work under licensed supervision and provide low‑cost telehealth sessions for adults, teens, and parents. My approach is relational and reflective, blending trauma‑informed principles with gentle structure. I pay close attention to your story, your patterns, and the places where you’ve had to be strong for too long. Together, we slow things down so you can understand what’s happening inside you, reconnect with your own voice, and begin to move toward steadiness and clarity. I strive to offer a calm, supportive space and a thoughtful, relational approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is rooted in the belief that people grow best in safe, steady relationships. I value honesty, warmth, and the kind of presence that helps you slow down and hear your own voice again. I also believe in communal healing — the idea that our wellbeing is shaped not only by our personal histories, but by the systems, families, and environments we move through. When we strengthen our inner world, we strengthen the communities we touch. I believe healing happens in connection — with ourselves, with others, and with the communities we belong to. So many of us carry our stories alone, trying to stay strong while navigating experiences that were never meant to be held in isolation. I see therapy as a place where that aloneness softens. When we feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood, something inside us begins to reorganize and heal.
