About My Clients
Struggling with RSD? Anxiety? Overstimulation? Procrastination? Depression? Motivation? Hey, me too! Your therapist should respect your autonomy, ask questions instead of making assumptions, and challenge you to look deeper and make connections. Let's build up your self-esteem, help you feel better in social situations, minimize your anxiety, learn how to communicate and set boundaries, deal with past trauma, or just enjoy life!
My Background and Approach
As someone with ADHD, I understand living with a disorder firsthand. Daily life can be frustrating, overwhelming, and disordered, maintaining relationships is a struggle, and then there's work and family life! Through a collaborative and supportive approach, I work with my clients to identify their strengths, set achievable goals, and overcome obstacles. I experienced trauma at a young age and struggled for years with undiagnosed ADHD. As a young adult, I felt like I struggled constantly to regulate myself. So I became the type of therapist that I needed and didn't have as a kid, teenager, and young adult. I have done extensive work with CBT and DBT, and I am also educated and experienced in IFS, narrative therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a mental health therapist in Phoenix, AZ, I specialize in ADHD and trauma therapy, recognizing that both can deeply impact your life. I value authenticity and connection, creating an environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and feelings. I understand that everyone’s journey is unique and am dedicated to supporting you in discovering your path to well-being. In addition to my clinical expertise, I am passionate about raising awareness for mental health issues, particularly ADHD and trauma. I believe in the power of community and strive to advocate for those who may feel marginalized or misunderstood. By promoting open conversations around mental health, I hope to destigmatize seeking help and encourage others to prioritize their emotional well-being. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and respect, allowing clients to feel seen and heard.
