About My Clients
My ideal clients will be those seeking a change, looking to set healthier boundaries, learn how to assertively communicate, and are ready to take back control of their lives, from fear, worry, stress, sadness and judgement.
My Background and Approach
I practice a person-centered, solution-focused approach. I offer unbiased support with an open-minded, non-judgmental and empathetic demeanor. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Social Work. I have worked in many different aspects of the field, including as a School Social Worker. I began my career in the areas of child and family services, foster care, adoption, intensive family services, vocation, juvenile justice, schools, elder care, and individual, group and family therapy. In addition to being a licensed Clinical and Macro therapist, I am also a Certified Life Coach specializing in relationships. I look forward to assisting you in establishing goals that meet your unique needs, as well as having the opportunity to be of service to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is capable of self-improvement, but that it is also a choice. Anxiety also plays a role in people not reaching their fullest potential. I help with navigating the thoughts and feelings that lead to behaviors produced as a result of unaddressed anxiety. My passion is assisting in the areas of boundary setting within family, friendships, dating, marriage, divorce and coparenting relationships, and improving interpersonal skills, in general.
