About My Clients
I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, stress, grief, and major life transitions. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and offer a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can be honest about your struggles. My approach can be secular or incorporate Christian faith and values when desired. You don’t have to have everything figured out—just a willingness to take the next step toward growth.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling from Central Michigan University. My approach to therapy is warm, approachable, practical, and straightforward. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship creates the foundation for meaningful change, and I strive to provide a space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while tailoring treatment to each person’s individual needs and goals. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also provide couples and family counseling. Clients do not need to be perfect or have everything figured out. I value honesty, perseverance, humor, and a willingness to grow. For clients who desire it, I can also incorporate Christian faith and values into the counseling process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Christian and can work with people of all faiths, or those who do not believe.
