About My Clients
You may feel sad, overwhelmed, confused, or angry, carrying so much at once that you feel stretched too thin or unsure where to even begin. I get it. It's exhausting. And you deserve a break. I'll listen to your whole story, attentively and without judgment. Together we'll practice tools that give you room to breathe instead of rushing to a band-aid fix, and explore the pain and the patterns. And we'll uncover the beauty in you too, because you are so much more than your struggles.
My Background and Approach
Our work usually unfolds in stages. First, we explore the full picture of what you're carrying, not just the surface symptom, what looks like anxiety may be unacknowledged fear, what shows up as anger may be old hurt. Understanding that fully creates real insight, rather than a quick fix that resurfaces elsewhere. When it's useful, we also build concrete skills, brainstorming, decision-making, and practicing hard conversations, so insight turns into the life you actually want. Before becoming a therapist, I spent eight years in the corporate world. Being uprooted and rebuilding in a new place, whether that's a career, a relationship, or a whole life, is something I understand firsthand, and it shaped how I work. I'm good at taking a tangled knot of thoughts, wires crossed every which way, and helping you see the fuller picture underneath, something you can actually work with. And when solutions are what's needed, I can meet you there too.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My clients range from young adults to retirees. The content of our struggles changes with age, but the ache underneath often doesn't, and each story carries its own nuance and texture. You are not alone in this, and there's nothing to be ashamed of. Many people believe relief only comes once they reach some ideal endpoint, as if life pauses until then. But life is happening now, today, and healing has its own pace and sequence. Even in the darkest moments, there are stars, even when clouds cover them. If the light at the end of your tunnel feels dim right now, I'll hold the candle alongside you, for as long as you need, until you can hold it yourself.
