About My Clients
Sometimes life can be so overwhelming – watching your child struggle, or even struggling yourself, takes a toll. The worry about friends, school, bullies. You try ignoring the 5th panic attack of the morning, just to make it to work, or help your child get ready for school. The big scary thing that happened to her, to you, to your family…it takes over your thoughts, and makes you feel so isolated. You used to be able to handle stress, and now it feels so hopeless.
My Background and Approach
What would it be like to feel calm and content again? To know that you’re not going crazy. Imagine that confidence returning – watching your kiddo laugh and play again...or feeling some joy in your own life! How wonderful would it be to feel at peace and to be able to let your mind and body rest! Helping kids, families, and adults find that strength again is my passion! I've been in this field for over 25 years, and seek out opportunities to keep learning new things that can help my clients all the time. I’m down to earth and playful at heart; helping you navigate life’s stressors is why I’m here! I offer some after-school and Saturday appointments, as well as online sessions. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each one of us is worthy of love and kindness, and do my best to practice this in my own life daily. Every day is a new day, and a new opportunity - to learn, to grow, to laugh, and to be loved. Even at my age, it's fun to learn new things! Music is an integral part of my life, and I recently started learning the piano and guitar. I won't make you suffer through any performances, though! I recognize that every person I meet is marching along their own path, and honor that for them in any way I can. I love being able to spend time with family and fur-babies - and if it's in nature, it's a bonus! Each school year, I donate my services to our local Nature Center Preschool, because I feel honored to support our community and the kids in it.
