About My Clients
I work with adults seeking support, greater self-understanding, and meaningful change. With over 18 years of experience, I help clients navigate anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma/PTSD, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other challenges. I provide a supportive space to better understand yourself, work through difficult experiences, develop new prospectives, and move toward greater well-being.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in CO and GA, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa, I bring over 18 years of experience working with adults with a wide range of concerns. I have extensive experience in trauma and PTSD and incorporate EMDR when it can be beneficial, while recognizing that each client's needs and goals are different. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from EMDR, CBT, and talk therapy to help clients understand patterns, process difficult experiences, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, accepted, and understood. My role is to meet you where you are, help you recognize and build on your strengths, and provide support and practical tools for growth and change. I value authenticity, compassion, and collaboration, and believe therapy should be tailored to you rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
