About My Clients
I enjoy working with adults and adolescents in individual, relationship, and family therapy. I work with clients who are struggling with the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, and relational issues. My goal is to help you build emotional awareness, feel your difficult feelings, and change how you process and digest emotions, memories, and current difficulties.
My Background and Approach
I provide trauma-informed, affirming, integrative care using evidence-based therapies, like Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My work leans on the science of Neuroplasticity, Attachment Theory and the power of our Mind-Body connection. I help clients heal from interpersonal injury and the self-harm of fear, doubt, loathing and despair, viewing un-welcomed symptoms like signposts pointing us toward the wound, and subsequently, toward healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work as a therapist focuses on creating a space to get courageously curious about the challenges that are holding you back from the life you want to lead. I believe there is a healing force, a drive or a motivation to heal and grow towards self-repair, that's operating in each of us, despite a history of trauma or suffering.
