About My Clients
I excel in working with individuals facing anger management issues, emotion regulation difficulties, LGBTQ-related concerns, addiction, trauma, and those seeking motivational and empowerment counseling.
My Background and Approach
I hold a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University. My specialties include addiction, trauma counseling, motivational interviewing, and LGBTQ-affirmative therapy. I've contributed to research on race and teacher-student relationships and completed certifications in unconscious bias and domestic violence impacts.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My person-first philosophy focuses on the individual’s unique experiences and challenges rather than rigid symptom checklists. I advocate for culturally competent mental health care and have been involved in community outreach efforts. I believe in the power of tailored treatment plans to address meaningful areas of focus for each client, providing the adaptability to respond to significant life changes.
