If you've done therapy before and still feel stuck, you're who I work with. I help people facing trauma, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, ADHD, grief, and relationship struggles, including veterans and first responders. Using brain-based methods like Rapid Resolution Therapy, I reach both your conscious and subconscious mind, so change happens faster and with less rehashing. Clients are often surprised the hard work doesn't feel as hard as expected.
My Background and Approach
I bring over two decades of clinical experience to our work together, spanning community mental health, addictions, and trauma resolution across the Greater Toronto Area and South Florida. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Massachusetts, and New York, and a Registered Social Worker in BC and Ontario, I hold licensure across multiple jurisdictions so I can meet you wherever you are. My specialized training, including 1500 hours as a Certified Rapid Resolution Therapy Specialist, Associate Trainer status with the Institute for Rapid Resolution Therapy, National Board Certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy, and certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, means you get methods built to resolve root causes, not just manage symptoms. I'm also a Certified Addictions Professional, so substance use concerns are fully within my expertise. Beyond the therapy room, I teach and present to clinicians across Canada and the US, keeping my approach sharp and effective for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Alongside my clinical work, I've served as a Disaster Relief Mental Health Service Provider with the American Red Cross, supporting people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. That experience shapes how I show up with every client: steady, present, and ready to meet you exactly where you are. I also value education deeply. I've taught psychology at the university level and continue to train and mentor other clinicians across North America, because I believe good therapy should keep evolving. At the core of it, I believe healing shouldn't have to feel heavy to be real, and I bring warmth and a bit of humor into the room to make that possible.
