About My Clients
I work with adults—often in their thirties to sixties—who have spent a lifetime "masking" to navigate a world not built for their unique neurobiology. My ideal clients are creatives, professionals, and individuals who have recently realized they are autistic or ADHD. They are ready to move beyond "just surviving," untangle the past, and build a values-driven future. I also welcome LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a clinician who understands that there is no version of you that needs adjusting.
My Background and Approach
I am a clinical psychologist (PhD) with 30 years of practice and over 25 years of experience training doctoral students. My approach is structured, transparent, and non-pathologizing. I specialize in the intersection of neurodivergence and complex trauma, using an integrated framework that combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with EMDR, the Flash Technique, and somatic methods. I help you map your unique wiring and lower the physiological charge of past wounds so you can process them without reliving them in agonizing detail. My goal is to remove the "friction" of therapy, providing a "no-surprises" sanctuary where your nervous system can finally drop its guard.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that to help others find their flow, I must stay connected to my own. I live by the principles of curiosity, balance, and self-awareness that I teach. Outside the office, you will likely find me playing guitar or banjo, as the rhythmic focus helps me stay regulated. I am an avid hiker and a genre-fiction enthusiast with a particular soft spot for stories of transformation—themes that mirror the work we do in the therapy room. I am a firm proponent of tools that reduce executive load and am committed to providing a sanctuary where your intellect is respected, your trauma is understood as a physical state to be resolved, and your nervous system is finally allowed to rest.
