About My Clients
I work best with deep-thinking individuals—including gamers, nerds, secular folks, and neurodivergent adults—who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, life transitions, or religious trauma. You might feel like you don't fit into traditional boxes or are exhausted from holding everything together. Whether you're seeking a safe space to unpack big existential questions or wanting to build real-world coping and social skills through collaborative TTRPG game therapy, you belong here.
My Background and Approach
My practice is grounded in evidence-based modalities—primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. Rather than using cookie-cutter advice, we collaborate to help you understand your brain's capacity for change, break unhelpful cognitive loops, and regain agency over your life. In addition to individual therapy, I specialize in therapeutic tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) groups. Using structured storytelling in games like D&D, group members practice real-world emotional regulation, communication, and boundary-setting in a low-stakes, creative environment. Whether in one-on-one sessions or therapeutic gaming groups, my approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in clinical care designed to build lasting resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I operate from a secular humanist framework: I believe every person has intrinsic value, and therapy should be entirely free from dogmatic or religious pressure. I have experience as a volunteer peer counselor with Recovering from Religion, and I am deeply committed to offering an authentic, affirming space for atheists, agnostics, and those processing religious deconstruction or spiritual harm. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodiversity-celebrating therapist who embraces the full spectrum of human identity and expression. I bring my genuine self to our work—including my passion for tabletop gaming and creative storytelling—to foster a relaxed, non-judgmental space where you can show up as you are.
