About My Clients
I see clients dealing with anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, conflicts in important relationships, grief, loss, mental illness, and existential crisis. I also work extensively with trauma, including complex trauma and dissociative and trauma-related disorders.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a clinician, I was a professor of philosophy at a research university. My approach is thus shaped by a deep understanding of the world’s philosophical traditions, both Eastern and Western. I bring those lenses to my therapeutic work, along with a profound respect for human differences and our shared humanity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As your therapist, I will strive to meet you where you are and work closely with you – recognizing your unique strengths and challenges – so we can move toward a better future. Living in the world today is seldom easy. And far too many of us face barriers and pressures that can be overwhelming when faced alone. I encourage you to take that first step of reaching out to me today.
