About My Clients
I accept everyone as they are because I know how it feels to struggle. My heart is in the work I do, and I show that by offering a safe and accepting space to people who come to me for support and healing. Focusing not only on the struggles that hold you back but also on the positive aspects of who you are as a person and the life you have around you.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the field. I have worked with many different populations in many different settings during that time. A big part of my professional experience has been in working with juveniles and adults in corrections, all ages in community clinics, with adolescents involved in delinquent behaviors at home and school, conducted various drug and alcohol groups . I have seen and felt firsthand many of the situations that people struggle with, which is why I became a Counselor. My work in therapy often focuses on trauma treatment and healing, and I work with individuals and families who struggle with intergenerational trauma in their family systems and their own lives. No matter your background, I can help you find calm and stability in the complex parts of life; using trauma-informed treatment and mindfulness-based techniques to get you through the complex parts of healing.
