About My Clients
I work with adults seeking meaningful change, whether they’re managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions. My clients are often motivated to understand themselves better and ready to create healthier patterns. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can take root. Together, we focus on building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and finding balance in relationships and daily life—all through the comfort of online therapy.
My Background and Approach
As a U.S. veteran, mental health professional, and former missionary, I bring a unique blend of lived experience, cultural understanding, and professional training to my work as a therapist. My journey of service—both in the military and in mission work—has deepened my appreciation for resilience, compassion, and the power of human connection. These experiences guide how I support clients through challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. In therapy, I use a person-centered approach that honors each client’s story and inner wisdom. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences, and I incorporate Motivational Interviewing to support clients in finding their own motivation for change. My goal is to create a safe, empowering space where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged to grow at your own pace—because lasting healing starts with genuine connection and understanding.

I am deeply committed to fostering equity, inclusion, and compassion in all areas of life. As a veteran and former missionary, I’ve witnessed firsthand the importance of community, empathy, and standing for what is right. I value diversity and actively support initiatives that promote mental health awareness, racial justice, and social equality, including movements like Black Lives Matter. I am passionate about creating safe spaces where all clients feel seen, heard, and respected, regardless of background, identity, or beliefs. I also dedicate time to volunteer efforts that support mental health and wellness, believing that small acts of service can have a lasting impact. Through my work, both personally and professionally, I strive to model resilience, empathy, and authenticity, helping others find strength and hope in their own journeys. My goal is to connect with clients not only as a therapist but as a compassionate advocate for human dignity and growth.
