About My Clients
If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community and navigating life's unique challenges, I understand how important it is to find an affirming and safe space. You might be dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or relationship difficulties, and you want to explore your identity and develop healthier coping mechanisms. My goal is to support you in discovering a path that feels true to who you are, leading to a more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
I work from a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and neurodiversity-informed lens. I take a flexible and personalized approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and client-centered techniques. This allows me to adapt our work together to fit your unique needs and goals, ensuring that your journey in therapy is as effective and meaningful as possible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a first-generation immigrant who is queer and neurodivergent, I understand the importance of recognizing how our intersecting identities shape our mental health and overall wellbeing. Being part of a marginalized group presents unique challenges that can complicate our daily lives. In therapy, I aim to help you explore these intersecting identities with curiosity and acceptance to foster a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
