About My Clients
I have experience working in residential and outpatient levels of care. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults who are working through life transitions or have experienced trauma.
My Background and Approach
My passion is to educate and support those impacted by the mental health stigma amongst different communities as it pertains to developing one’s cultural identity. I also seek to bridge the gap of disparities that those involved with the justice system tend to face, but also including those who have faced systemic oppression. I believe that people can access their inner strengths and promote change to become a better version of themselves while inspiring others to do the same. I am a person-centered therapist that uses DBT, CBT, strengths-based and psychoeducational approaches. I’m trained in Comprehensive DBT and will utilize all of my skills to help you meet your life worth living goals. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy to target those experiencing trauma symptoms.
