About My Clients

I tend to work best with introspective clients seeking a greater understanding on why they continue to engage in maladaptive behavioral patterns that do not serve them, where this comes from, and what they can do about it. Topics of interest include: disordered relationships with substances and/or food, manifestations of self-harm, trauma responses, and anxiety.

My Background and Approach

I am a collaborative and process-oriented therapist. This essentially means I work with individuals and couples to find unhealthy themes of thinking, feeling, and behaving. From exploring these patterns utilizing a mixture of psychodynamic, emotion-centered, and parts-oriented work (i.e., inner child and IFS), I will help you gain new insight to begin the journey of processing unhealed emotional wounds, developing self-compassion, and unlearning the harmful lessons that are stopping you from having the life and relationships you crave.
