About My Clients
My focus on therapy is to empower clients to find their own strengths when managing high stress situations and learn to confront the problems, solve them, and to be able to move towards their next steps and goals in life. My focus on strength based and cognitive behavioral practices and can work with clients from 8-70 years old. I also use Trauma therapy, and mindfulness practices.
My Background and Approach
I have been licensed as a Marriage Family therapist since 1987. I have received 2 masters degrees in Marriage family child counseling and Clinical psychology. I can work with a diverse population and specializes in working with people from different countries and ethnicities. I can work with issues such as: Addictions, chemical dependency, relationship and couples, family issues, and encourage clients to be empowered and learn assertiveness skills and coping skills to manage highly stressful situations. I can also work with issues such as PTSD, abuse, addiction, depression, anxiety, domestic violence as well as with people who have anger issues.
