About My Clients
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and self-esteem concerns. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals carrying emotional exhaustion, people-pleasing patterns, or unresolved pain while trying to hold everything together. I provide a supportive space focused on healing, emotional growth, healthier relationships, and practical coping tools.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Life Coach, and Army veteran with over 26 years of military service. I provide therapy that is warm, collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client’s needs and goals. My approach integrates CBT, DBT-informed skills, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, solution-focused strategies, and trauma-informed care. I help clients develop healthier coping skills, improve communication, strengthen boundaries, process difficult emotions, and build confidence in themselves and their relationships. Clients often appreciate my balance of compassion, accountability, and real-life tools they can apply outside of sessions. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel emotionally safe, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace. I offer HIPAA-compliant telehealth services in Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, and Louisiana, along with in-person services in Texas.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and feeling emotionally safe enough to be yourself without judgment. My work is rooted in authenticity, empathy, growth, and helping others recognize their value and strength. As both a counselor and life coach, I am passionate about helping people move beyond survival mode and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I strongly value emotional wellness, self-awareness, healthy boundaries, and community support. I also have a heart for supporting military members, veterans, helping professionals, and underserved communities. Outside of therapy, I enjoy creating mental health resources, encouraging personal growth, and helping others feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.
